How Ordoline works

Ordoline aligners are nearly invisible, removable orthodontic appliances that move teeth in a carefully pre-planned manner. They straighten teeth by applying gentle pressure to guide them into the correct position. Aligners are typically changed every 10 days to achieve the next stage of tooth movement until the end of the treatment.

Treatment process

Consultation and diagnostics

Register for a consultation at one of our certified Ordoline partner clinics. After diagnostics, your doctor will submit your case to the Ordoline doctors’ platform to receive a treatment plan.

  • Doctor consultation
  • Your data is transferred to the Ordoline centre

Treatment plan preparation

After receiving your data, Ordoline specialists will prepare an individual treatment plan and send it to your doctor for verification. At your next visit, your doctor will explain the expected results, the exact duration of your treatment, and show you the smile you will achieve by the end of your treatment.

Preparation for the treatment and teeth straightening

At your next visit, your doctor will prepare you for the treatment and apply any necessary orthodontic add-ons to ensure effective results. You will then receive your first set of aligners along with detailed treatment instructions and guidelines. Regular check-up visits will be required every three to four months.

Development of your individual treatment

Digital treatment plan is the key to an excellent result

A digital treatment plan

The development of your treatment begins with the creation of a digital treatment plan, which forms the foundation of aligner therapy. This plan is based on the data collected by your doctor during your initial visit and is later used to produce your individual aligners.

Visual roadmap

The plan acts as a roadmap that visually outlines the entire treatment process, the required tooth movements, and the expected duration to achieve the desired results. It also shows the outcome the patient will achieve by the end of the treatment.

Quality control

To ensure the highest quality and immediate applicability of each treatment plan, Ordoline uses a double-control system. Every plan is thoroughly reviewed by Ordoline’s team of orthodontic experts, and only after their approval is it sent to your doctor for final verification.

Production of aligners

The production of aligners is a knowledge-intensive process

  • Models of teeth positions

To produce aligners, plastic models of your teeth at each stage of the treatment are first created. These models represent the planned tooth movements and are used to manufacture individual aligners that will guide your teeth into their intended positions.

  • Aligner production

Ordoline aligners are made from PET-G thermoplastic polyester to ensure they are hypoallergenic, nearly invisible, comfortable, and effective.

  • Preparation

At the Ordoline centre, each aligner is carefully trimmed along the gum line to help prevent gum recession.
